Zozo is a self-taught artist - a tattooer and illustrator based in Kuala Lumpur.
Her base of tattoo inspiration comes from retro ornaments and shapes, which depict what she draws today. Her artworks in terms of paintings and illustrations can be seen to be more illustrative as she tends to cartoonize her characters - she defines it to be a form without rules, and by giving life to her works. Zozo incorporates a contrast between tattoo work and paper/wall work - she loves focusing on black and the negatives (skin) in her tattoo work, whilst exploring pops of colors in her paper/wall work in order to express her ever-evolving style.
